maybe they just rub me wrong since they’re always explained by some pouty faced dude, but these posts always seem to roughly translate to,

Pretty much what they translate to. :/ Also—what about people who enjoy wearing makeup and nice clothes? If you try to tell me that I shouldn’t put effort into putting together my outfits (something I take serious pride in), and that my style is a product of or is indicative of ‘insecurity’… you may turn your secure ass around and secure it a spot far from me.
